A New Year is here and a New Year of possibilities!
The West Coast Cycling Association is the non-profit organization that hosts the majority of cycling events on the West Coast of Newfoundland. This includes road cycling races, mountain bike rides and triathlons.
This year we’re switching things up a bit, with more announcements to come as we finalize our plans.
The joy of the outdoors is one that’s hard to beat…though maybe the joy of the holiday season is a close second!
Find a way to give both this year and find the perfect gift for the special someones in your life by shopping at Cycle Solutions! By investing in quality product from a local store, you’ll know you have the perfect gift for your loved ones.
So, let’s get to it and check out some of what we have this year!
Our Skis of the Week are this pair from Madshus, with Intelligrip technology!
The waxless base system in the kick zone is perfect for almost all conditions, including icy tracks, powder, and warmer temperatures. The classic high camber profile and Speed Tip mean smooth contact and great glide. The core is made of PR 100X and Triaxial Carbon Construction with the base as P190 Nano Universal.

These skis work perfectly with the Rottefella Xcelerator Pro Classic Binding.
This classic binding comes with the Quicklock system, which allows you to reposition the binding without tools for a better glide. It’s also wider for increased stability.
We also have skate and backcountry skis! Plus, put together an entire package, with skis, poles, bindings and boots and save.
More than Just Your Local Bike Store!
From day one it has been our mission to foster, encourage and support a sustainable cycling culture in Western Newfoundland through education, enthusiasm, and encouragement. Tens years on, we are still dedicated to those ideals. We offer more tours, and organize or participate in more events than ever before. As such, we have more and more ways for you to stay connected to the cycling community.
