A long-distance ride in Gros Morne National Park, in partnership with Trails, Tales, and Tunes!
Nothing kicks off the Cycling Season better than an epic 75k un-timed fondo around the beautiful Bonne Bay, to the hill & back! Bikers meet in Norris Point early in the morning, then boat across the bay and land at the start line in scenic Woody Point. From there they take a left and keep on going! Climbing the ‘struggle’, and many of the 410 Highway’s most beautiful climbs through NL’s incredible West Coast topography. Finally descending into Norris Point again on the far end, racers can then enjoy a delicious pint and some tasty snacks at the Cat Stop while local musicians regale them with traditional Newfoundland tunes as a part of the annual Trails, Tales & Tunes music festival. Perfect for competitive cyclists or even the keen beginner, this is the perfect way to jumpstart your summer fitness!
